The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) is the face of Legacy Care with our clients and provider team members. The Regional Director of Operations will also act as the liaison with our provider team members and our client facilities. The Regional Director of Operations will report to the Vice President of Operations.

He/she will be responsible for developing market business development plans for deeper penetration with existing clients. The plans will include appropriate milestones and key performance metrics, in compliance with the LGS board approved market penetration strategy. The RDO is also responsible for executing a market focused business operations plan, maintaining regular communication with our clients and medical providers. The RDO will be responsible for tracking, measuring, and reporting progress on accounts to the Vice President of Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Will lead operations in their assigned markets and will grow Legacy Care’s market presence and brand recognition.
  • Will provide current market penetration and performance tracking guidance and updates to Legacy Care leadership and team.
  • Will work seamlessly to coordinate activities and events to improve closing success in each new opportunity.
  • Will maintain a detailed and continuous flow of up-to-date market intelligence. Will additionally identify and immediately communicate, any threats, competitor intelligence, or any other adverse events or trends in Legacy Care’s markets that may impact Legacy Care’s strategic growth.
  • Work collaboratively with the Legacy Care Talent Acquisition and Business Development Representatives (BDR) to acquire and place qualified medical providers to support new growth and replacement positions.
  • As part of the collaborative efforts with Talent Acquisition and BDR, RDO will coordinate onboarding and integration of providers into new and existing facilities to include; credentialing/privileging, training and documentation, establish communication books/progress notes, introduction to key client stakeholders, collaborative practice agreements, call team assignment, and coding orientation.
  • Ensures we will deliver on our value proposition as perceived by our clients. Tracks provider performance by monitoring each client’s satisfaction with our services.
  • Remains cognizant of legislative, industrial, and competitive trends affecting our services or our company within their assigned market.
  • Responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationship with Providers and Client leadership; onsite visitation per account management guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance and utilization of the Legacy Care model within assigned buildings and Provider organizations.
  • Will collaboratively work with client facility leadership at local level to collect data and track outcomes on KPI, such as return to hospital, infection control rates, use of medications or other key indicators identified by corporate leadership and/ or Legacy Care.
  • Will be expected to adhere to the Legacy Care Account Management policy as outlined in company and provider onboarding, to ensure success with new and existing providers, as well as meeting expectations with new client facilities.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Nursing, Medicine, (Healthcare related) and/or equivalent combination of experience and education in business development, sales and marketing preferred.
  • Three years in management or leadership position and two years of sales experience.
  • Knowledge of medical or healthcare services or products within the Post-Acute Care setting.
  • Must have excellent presentation skills and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills and drive within entrepreneurial environment.
  • Must be willing to travel from 10% to 80% in market territory if success demands. The travel does include overnight trips as needed and/or directed by supervisor.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
